Spanish fashion at Children’s Club in New York

Hi sister,

I’m very happy because we have been mentioned in an influential Spanish blog regarding our participation in Enk Children’s Club in New York. Thanks a lot to Blogmodabebe!

Please, see below the translation of the post:

Last March in New York, it took place the Children’s Club New York, a trade show that hosted nearly 500 brands of children’s apparel, footwear, accessories, layette items and toys. I heard about this event thanks to Sisters B2B, a company lead in Spain by my friend, entrepreneur Sofía Sotorrío. Sofía helps Spanish brands get access to the American market. She is a great professional and has a beautiful story that I want to hare with you today. Keep reading to discover it and if you are a brand interested in “crossing the pond”.

I met Sofía through her blog “Cuéntame Sister”. A very emotive blog through which Sofía, who lives in Barcelona, and her sister Elena, who lives in Texas, USA, keep in touch with each other and share their experiences of living in such different countries. This blog was the origin of the Sisters B2B company: a business concept that solve the needs of Spanish companies that want to sell in the USA by assigning them an in-country team that knows the local culture and trends and can provide close and immediate attention to the American customers. That is the competitive advantage of Sisters B2B.

Sofía (shown above with Elena), facilitates access to the USA market to children and baby’s apparel brands manufactured in Spain. The company is focused in the state of Texas, where there is a big hispanic population that knows and appreciates our fashion. Sisters B2B is the sales representative in the United States of companies like Barcarola, JV José Varon and León Shoes, which are shown in the attached pictures. They can help Spanish brands by putting them in contact with American buyers or distributors and negotiating the most favorable terms due to their expertise in the local market.

In addition, Sisters B2B assists their clients in the planning, shipping and tracking of purchase orders from origin to final destination. They analyze the business risks of each transaction and suggest the funding options that better suit each situation. They also offer a complementary network of support services in customs clearance, transportation, logistics and management to comply with all regulatory requirements both in Spain and in the USA.

Sisters B2B attended Children’s Club in New York with Asepri, the Spanish Association of Children Products. Sofía was the one who provided me with most of the pictures of the show you see here. She also mentioned other brands that are making a big effort to grow abroad despite their relatively small size: Lilo & Co, for example, which I have already covered in this blog, was founded by two female entrepreneurs who make handmade baby garments following the tradition of our grandmothers. Lil & Co visited Playtime New York, another trade fair to consider. In the pictures you can also see other brands made in Spain like Cóndor, Tartaleta, Paz Rodríguez … in Children’s Club.
